“Joining Sing For Change has been a really good experience for me, as I used to sing when I was younger and had wanted for some time to find a welcoming group to get back to it. I had lost my confidence and had been feeling quite anxious following cancer treatment. Singing with the group brings me calm and happiness. Thank you!” – Lisa
“Singing for change – not just a group of enthusiastic singers, but a welcoming group of interesting people, committed to keeping the values of social justice in the spotlight. Serious about the singing but relaxed, easy and tolerant. A highlight of my week!”

While the philosophy of Sing for Change may sound a tidge serious nothing could be further from the truth. Our sessions are so much fun. No one judges you and everyone is supportive of each other. So I would like to extend a big thank-you to other members of the choir, the choir organisers, and our choir leader Simon Levermore for musically navigating us through a tumultuous period of our lives taking us into the future when we can meet in person. Why not come along and join us? You’ll never look back !! ”
”In primary school, I was told I couldn’t sing. I believed what I had been told and (even after many, many years !!) I remained scared of singing in front of other people, I can still feel the embarrassment and failure I felt as that nine-year-old. Well that was until I had the opportunity to join a singing group called Circle Song in Rugby, whose philosophy was that we can all sing. Sadly due to Covid, our group was no longer able to meet.
Keen to keep singing (now I had found my voice) I jumped at the chance to join ‘Sing for Change’ zoom singing sessions at the start of the pandemic. The Sing for Change philosophy resonated with me and many of the songs chosen for our sessions made me feel connected to others when at a time we were so isolated from each other.”
